Since I couldn’t show you a face for the iheartfaces contest last week, how about a face this week! I had the pleasure of shooting this young model last weekend. She is just a natural in front of the camera! And do you see the dimples? I have soooooooooo many amazing pictures of her.
I’m normally not the contest-entering type, but I just ran across the iheartfaces website, and it seems like a cool idea and the weekly contest this week is all about hands, and I have a thing for taking pictures of hands, and the karma seemed right, so here I am. I may have posted this...
This trio was lots of fun, and they made me feel right at home by dressing in Maize and Blue! I got a workout, but in the end, we got GREAT pictures!

She just learned to sit up, so we shamelessly took advantage of her new skill, with only a teeny bit of paranoia that she might fall and clunk her head (she didn’t!). Isn’t she a sweetie?
So this is a kinda sorta one-year-old picture. I won’t say that she was this serene for our entire time shooting together, but we did have our moments

So one of our photo shoots was done with a carload of snakes on an Australian beach. Sounds pretty weird, but it was all in the spirit of helping us to practice the advanced lighting skills we were learning. It felt like old times to me since I spent two of my college years living...
