We had planned to meet for an entire afternoon of shooting. Things did not work out EXACTLY as planned. It was freakishly cold, cloudy, and threatening rain. I got caught in a 90 minute traffic jam on my way to meet them. Then there was this weird time zone thing that made it an hour later in Arizona than it was in Nevada. So by the time I reached them, it was cloudy, nearing dusk, and the light was going FAST.
Fortunately, this lovely lady, who happened to be celebrating her 10th birthday, was a joy to work with and she tolerated my frantic hurry-up efforts to get at least some shots before we lost the light completely.
Anyway…. enough excuses…. Here are the pictures.
The light was going fast…. This shot is illuminated almost exclusively by the string of incandescent Christmasy lights wrapped around the post!
