Several of you have asked to see some of the cards I sent in New Years Past. I would like to be able to tell you that I have a pristine collection of every card that I ever sent, cataloged, cross-referenced, and archivally stored. Not so. Not even close. In fact, I’m embarrassed to say that I have only a random smattering of cards from years past, and can’t even pinpoint in which years most of the cards were sent!
Here are a few.
I can tell you that all were sent in the last decade (or so)…. All were actual photographic prints, printed by hand in my own B&W darkroom (current status: cobwebs)…. And while I can’t date them precisely, I can accurately put them in chronological order (I think).

This one has always been a favorite photo. Taken many years ago at an Ann Arbor Street Festival. It’s a sloppy picture in so many ways, but I love the energy in it.

These kids hammed it up for the camera incredibly! Taken on South Beach in Miami back in the days when street photography was still something I felt comfortable doing.

May Day parade in Melbourne Australia. I think this one was shot in 2001 (or 2002) and made it onto my 2002 (or 2003) card.
